Hello all! I am so sorry that I have completely neglected my blog for quite some time now. I wanted to do a quick post for a couple of reasons…
1) I need to remember how to do this!
2) There are a lot of things coming up as the release of Under the Influence draws near
3) I miss you guys!
Okay…so in case you haven’t heard, I am working on yet another contemporary romance novel titled, Under the Influence. Here is the beautiful cover, designed by the muy talented Hang Le, along with the synopsis…
Dalton,
I loved you once. A love I thought irrevocable. A love I mistakenly believed could transcend both time and circumstance. Under the influence of my dimwitted, naïve, traitorous heart, I became intoxicated with what I now know was simply a figment of my self-indulgent imagination. A little bit about the story itself…
It begins when the main characters are eighteen years old and follows them through the next five years of their lives. There is Dalton Greer – once lost in the foster care system, he emerges into adulthood angry and lost in a life in which he is held prisoner. A life he chose in order to survive his youth and a life from which he longs to break free. Yet regardless of this life, he has maintained a close bond with Spencer Locke who has completely captivated him since their childhood friendship began twelve years ago.
Spencer also feels drawn to him in a way that not even she understands. She keeps her true feelings hidden from Dalton, knowing their friendship must take precedence.
But sometimes love demands to be felt, and no matter how hard Dalton and Spencer fight it, love completely overrides their efforts as it binds them together.
Yet as they begin their journey, fate step in and forces crucial decisions to be made. Decisions that will forever alter their paths. Only time will tell if their love is strong enough to maintain its hold as it navigates them over the next five years of their lives…
